Work

I bring a writer’s eye, a marketer’s strategy, and a project-minded approach to content that is clear, useful, and human.

My experience spans creative editorial writing, nonprofit communications, and nearly five years of agency content marketing for clients in home building, real estate, development, and local business. Across those roles, I’ve written blogs, website copy, emails, social content, press releases, award submissions, video scripts, newsletters, donor-facing stories, and sales-support materials, often while managing calendars, approvals, deadlines, and multiple brand voices.

I’m currently seeking opportunities in content marketing, brand communications, SEO/GEO content strategy, social/editorial planning and creative project coordination.

Take a walk down memory lane with me…

As a content creator, editor and managing editor for the Kennesaw State University (KSU) The Odyssey chapter, I wrote a total of 85 articles published on a weekly basis, covering political, social, personal and pop culture topics while learning to turn timely conversations into engaging, shareable stories.

I also edited contributors’ work for clarity, structure, tone, AP style, SEO value and audience appeal, building the editorial judgment and fast-turnaround writing skills I still bring to every piece of content I create.

During my time completing my Bachelor of Arts in English at Kennesaw State University, I submitted my senior capstone to the National Conference for Undergraduate Research and was selected as one of 3,914 student presenters. I was honored to represent KSU alongside 382 university researchers at a national conference attended by 3,333 people.

A labor of love, I presented my essay, “Cherokee Spirituality: Progression Through Conversion and Time,” at the 2019 conference to a group of about 100 people for 20 minutes. The essay detailed the representation of Cherokee Spirituality in novels, by the Cherokee people, and from outside perspectives.

Later, my essay was also awarded the 2020 Interdisciplinary Studies Student Award for Best Undergraduate Research Paper.

At Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, I wrote and edited donor-facing communications, homeowner stories, blog posts, reports, newsletters, and community awareness content that helped translate the organization’s mission into clear, human-centered storytelling.

I also interviewed Habitat families and handled sensitive personal narratives with care, creating respectful, mission-driven content across email, web, and social channels.

In my role supporting the ReStore, I helped photograph and promote in-store inventory and managed the Instagram to help support sales.

As a Social Media Coordinator at Denim Marketing, I wrote blog posts and created organic and paid social content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and X/Twitter, including captions, graphics, video concepts, static posts and carousels. I also supported social media and Facebook Ads work for Atlanta Real Estate Forum, building a strong foundation in platform-specific content, campaign execution and audience engagement.

On a weekly basis, I listened to and wrote a full blog post for the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio podcast, covering topics such as new communities, Atlanta Legends in Real Estate, citywide events, trending designs, and market updates.

As a Senior Content Creator at Denim Marketing, I led content strategy and execution across multiple client accounts, writing SEO- and GEO-informed blogs, website copy, email and social campaigns, social captions, press releases, award submissions, and video scripts that supported search visibility, brand authority and sales teams.

During this role, I wrote submissions and contributed to 22 OBIE Award wins, and I spoke at the 2025 Home Builder Digital Marketing Summit. This was my second conference speaking engagement and first in my professional career, offering me an opportunity to bring my content and digital marketing expertise to an industry audience.
